Nando’s will pay it forward by donating 100 percent of sales each opening day to support student programs at Niles North High School and Hinsdale Central High School.

• SKOKIE: Nando’s ninth Chicago location will open on Sunday, November 13, in Westfield Old Orchard mall. Nando’s will donate opening-day sales to Niles North High School. The restaurant is located at 4999 Old Orchard Center, Skokie, IL. Phone: 847-972-6833

Opening-day sales in Oakbrook will be donated to the Hinsdale Central High School’s performing arts program, to help offset costs of five plays and musicals this school year.

Nando’s 11th Chicagoland location opens in mid-January 2017 in the Hyde Park neighborhood, at 1447 E. 53rd Street near the University of Chicago.

Even if you don’t love either option on the table this election season, it’s time to pick a side. So come to any Nando’s PERi-PERi on Election Day for one of our sides. The good news: We have more than two, and they’re all delicious. And free.

Show up at Nando’s with a sticker on Tuesday, November 8, and we’ll let you pick any delicious regular side from our menu for free. Since federal law prohibits rewarding people for their votes, we can’t tell you to show off your brand new “I voted” stickers at the door. Any lame sticker will do. (Thanks 18 U.S. Code 597!)

So choose from our seasoned PERI chips (our fries are ideal for customers with tiny hands), flame-grilled corn on the cob, coleslaw, Macho Peas, Portuguese Rice or any of our other liberally portioned side dishes. Political tastes aside, Nando’s has something for everyone.

And if you’re anywhere near a Nando’s NOW and you’ve got Cubs gear on,  cure your hangover with free PERi-PERi chicken TODAY during our special 108-minute lunchtime Cubs W #NandosDash.

From noon until 1:48pm today, fans score a free entree dine-in. Choose from a FREE  ¼ chicken, chicken sandwich, wrap, or pita.*
